Chen's watercolor paintings were selected by the jury for exhibition, Art at the Mill. The Clarke County Historical Association, Burwell-Morgan Mill, Millwood, VA.

By jury selection, Chen's watercolor will be presented on the banner as part of the ArtScape in the Old Town Wincheste. The Old Town Development Board and the Shenandoah Arts Council, Winchester, VA (Apr. - Nov.)

Chen will be the guest artist in residence at the Tsoying Dance Program in Kaohsiung Taiwan for a 3 week summer program. She is commissioned to create a new choreography for Tsoying Dance Ensemble for its Annual Performing Season on Tour in major cities of Taiwan.

Chen hopes to spend this summer finishing her Dance Composition Textbook. She is seeking a publisher. Currently, she has an on-line version using Soft Chalk application to facilitate student learning.
